The Compton Inn is situated in the village of Compton Dando a small village and civil parish on the River Chew in the Chew Valley, Somerset. It is 7 miles from Bristol, 8 miles from Bath, and 3 miles from Keynsham.

Directions from Keynsham:
Leaving Keynsham on the B3116 Wellsway, after a quarter of a mile, turn right, signposted Chewton and Compton Dando. Continue through the village of Chewton Keynsham and after approximately 1.5 miles you will arrive in the village of Compton Dando. Once you have crossed the River Chew via the humped-back bridge the Compton Inn will be on your left.

Directions from Bristol:
Leaving Bristol on the A37 and just beyond the village of Pensford at the roundabout for Chelwood, turn left onto the A368 signed Bath. After approximately 1.5 miles you will see a sign for the Compton Inn asking you to turn left, signed Huntstrete and Compton Dando. After 1 mile you will see a second sign asking you to turn right, signed Compton Dando. The Compton Inn stands in the centre of the village.
